Think and Answer – 1

Most of the times my brain is filled with questions. And I keep pondering over them. I have an annoying habit of asking random, out of the blue questions. And it is usually a few till now whom I have tortured πŸ˜‰ But now, I think, once in a while I will be a bore on a grander scale and ask a few questions here πŸ˜› In this section I will be just posting the questions that I have been musing over for some time.

Do post your answers in the comment section. πŸ™‚

Q1. What is more important, achieving the goal or the path taken to reach the goal? Is result the most important….more than the means?

Q2. If happiness had a form….what form would that be?

Q3. In the Iliad, Achilese says that The Gods are jealous of humans because we are mortals and that they live forever. In Mahabharata, Ashwathama was cursed with Immortality. In fiction an Immortal human yearns for death. Is Immortality a curse? Then why does man want it?

  1. Mayur says:

    A1: The result.
A2: Liquid, (properties of that of water)
A3: A man yearns for what he can never get!

    • snowleopard says:

      A1. Why
A2. A fluid with a neutral ph which is essential for survival. Which flows and cleans. And is serene when calm. Is this what you are talking about?
A3. So is it a curse or a boon?

      • Mayur says:

AA1: Means become present, Results become legends!

AA2: No. The property of water is to keep flowing limitlessly, unless you decide to contain it. What good is happiness if you cant spread it? Let it flow. I compared water to it because water is reusable unlike most liquids. Even if it changes forms, it comes back to the original when things normalize.

AA3: Either or neither. Depends on the perception of the person yearning for it.

  2. Pooja says:

A1. It is such a cliche when people say that the means are more important than the result. I don’t agree. The achieving is more important, provided the means are fair and does not harm others in the process.

A2. In the form of “Satisfaction”

A3. I don’t want immortality, but I am a woman :P. You men just want what you can’t have.

  3. sarah says:

Ans 1- the path taken is more important as it will help u ‘sustain’ the result, otherwise it will just be a come and go.

ans2- it would be something constant, change is wht makes us unhappy.

ans3- i agree with the 1st person, a man wants what he cannot get πŸ™‚

  4. Mayur says:

By the way I’d like you to answer it as well Patty πŸ™‚

    PS: No copying!

  5. cooltwins says:

    1. the path taken i will chose πŸ™‚
    2. the form god has! if you know the true form of god you must know the form of happiness.
    3. he doesn’t know what he really is asking for πŸ˜‰ neither does he know what he wants!

  6. Purbaray says:

#The goal is as important as the path. Of what use is the hardwork if you don’t achieve results. But it’s a good way to console yourself – atleast I tried.

    # Happiness is more a state of mind. Fleeting, temporary, a cherished memory. For me it will a photo album of captured memories.

    # Of what use is immortality if your loved ones are not around anymore?

  7. raisa says:

    My view would be :
    1. “Means how u achieve”….many a times u may not reach the goal….but yes u may learn a lot which u could have never otherwise.
    2. The form that keeps u delighted with smiling face forever.
3.Because that makes us human…..”the desire to run behind something u have never taste”, else v would have been god :-)…….

  8. Lalit says:

    1. If you don’t enjoy the path the result is almost not worth it.
    2. Babies
    3. Too much philosophical. Just live in the moment.

  9. Nrupen says:

    1. Of course the path is equally important as your goal.
    2. Can’t really define state of happiness just because if differs for every human being and life form available on planet.
    3. Immortality is surely a curse and I never heard someone asking of immortality.

  10. snowleopard says:

A1 I don’t know. There are positives and negatives of choosing both. Though reaching a goal is important but it is best when done fairly. Because if caught then you are in serious trouble.

A2 I think it would be like a mirror

A3 Immortality can also be achieved by doing something that would keep your memory alive in people’s heart for ages to come πŸ™‚
